A chance for your child to play wild, build dens, make friends, connect with nature and be active and away from screens
Having the opportunity to learn social and practical skills through free play with peers in a natural environment is vitally important for children’s development. At Wild Woodlanders, children develop gross and fine motor skills through things like tree climbing and knot tying. They learn how to resolve conflict, manage risk, look after themselves and each other, all through self-directed play (just like those of us who used to roam free as kids used to do).
Our staff are trained Forest School leaders and Outdoor First Aiders. We also access a wide range of training in order to continuously improve our practice, so that we can support wellbeing and development.
